HITS Daily Double is reporting that Eminem’s Recovery, released Monday, will top the charts in its first week of sales with somewhere between 590,000 to 615,000 units shipped. Wow! So the generally unfavorable reviews and the leak had minimal impact, and Em now has a chance to outdo Relapse’s impressive first week (608,000). Do Eminem fans hate piracy or what? Anyway, coupled with Drake’s Thank Me Later (462,000!), that makes a very good fortnight for the music industry. [HITSDailyDouble]
