Almost No One Watched Larry King’s Oil-Spill Telethon

CNN aired an oil-spill telethon last night hosted by Larry King (with Ryan Seacrest in the house!) that just over 500,000 people watched. Both Fox and MSNBC’s regularly scheduled programming had more viewers. The special did raise $1.8 million dollars — though CNN’s similar telethon for Haiti raised $5 million — and perhaps all of it should be put toward getting the spill actually stopped. [Live Feed/HR]
