In the same issue of Rolling Stone that features her on the cover wearing machine guns and nothing else, Lady Gaga says that her next, third album is already finished, though it won’t be released until 2011. (Or, at least, she says, “I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now,” which probably doesn’t preclude some fiddling.) Gaga also tells the magazine she plans to announce the title on New Year’s Eve (by getting a tattoo of it, of course), and that it’s angrier than her previous pop records. “I have been for three years baking cakes,” she says. “And now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.” We don’t know what kind of metaphorical cakes she has been eating!
