Olive Garden Should Comp Taylor Lautner

Unlike some celebrities we know, you’ll never catch Taylor Lautner betraying his revolutionary ideals with an order of truffle fries, mostly because they’re not on the menu at Olive Garden. The eight-packed Twilight werewolf does a reverse-M.I.A. in his new GQ cover profile, outing himself to Mickey Rapkin as an OG regular.

Rapkin reports:

Lautner suggests the Olive Garden for lunch. “Do you like this place?” he asks, a little unsure, adding: “My father turned me on to it.” Without glancing at the menu, Lautner orders the Toscana soup, then asks to substitute the Caesar salad for the house. Before the waiter can reply, Lautner interrupts innocently: “I know,” he says, “it’ll be a dollar fifty extra. That’s fine.”

So Olive Garden — this kid gets paid like a million bucks per ab to star in movies. Do you have any idea what an endorsement like his is worth? Unless he releases a Rapkin dis track this weekend, along with audio proving it was the GQ editor-in-chief who picked the restaurant, those Caesar salads should probably be on the house.

By the way, M.I.A., profiled in the same issue, was interviewed by Gary Shteyngart at the Bowery Hotel.
