The network has closed a deal on the Brett Ratner-directed pilot Chaos for a midseason 13-episode order. The CIA drama series had been “presumed dead” three weeks ago when no agreement was reached between the studio (20th Century Fox) and the network after five weeks of negotiations, and the options on the actors were allowed to expire. But, improbably, the two sides struck a deal within the past three days, and were able to get all of the actors - including Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under) Eric Close, James Murray, Tim Blake Nelson and Carmen Ejogo - back on board.
