Comic-Con Round-Up: Ryan Reynolds on The Green Lantern Going Glove-less; Natalie Portman on Thor

In San Diego right now, Natalie Portman, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Scarlett Johansson might all be mingling together! Perhaps having a cocktail, and sharing amusing anecdotes about fans. Anyway, all the buzz about their projects, below.

• Harrison Ford came onstage during the Cowboys & Aliens panel, walking out in handcuffs for a gag that didn't go over that well, because somebody at Comic Con had actually been arrested the day before. "Ford answered only one question, pertaining to whether he ever anticipated becoming a celebrity. 'No, I just wanted to make a living as an actor,' Ford said. 'I didn’t know about all of this,' referencing the 6,000 ecstatic fans in the audience." [PopWatch/EW]

The Green Lantern still has a few more weeks of shooting. Peter Sarsgaard had never read the comics before being cast. Ryan Reynolds said the team tried to find "a happy medium" between keeping longtime fans happy and "introducing" his character to a new generation. His suit is "like a biological manifestation of the ring," so that's why it looks the way it does. So where are the white gloves? "He's not a valet parking attendant in Tokyo," Reynolds said. Oh, and Blake Lively would "create Disney Land" for herself "everywhere," if she had The Green Lantern's powerful ring. [PopWatch/EW]
