Did James Frey Give an Interview As an Alien?

Best-selling fabulist James Frey co-wrote the forthcoming HarperCollins YA sci-fi novel I Am Number Four with rookie author Jobie Hughes under the collective alias Pittacus Lore, who, for marketing purposes, they're claiming is a real-life alien (a "Lorien," actually). Today, EW's Shelf Life blog has an interview with Lore in which, using a voice changer, he discusses his home planet and the impending invasion of Earth by Mogadarians. It could have been Hughes, we suppose, but doesn't this sound like something Frey would do? [Shelf Life/EW]
