Steve Carrell forwent the expected promotion of Despicable Me during his appearance on The Cobert Report to dust off his and Colbert’s classic Daily Show insult-fest, Even Stephven. The result was a great Dan in Real Life joke and the two ending things in tears, cursing “that asshole” Jon Stewart for holding them back while simultaneously launching their careers.
