Law & Order’s Dick Wolf Will Write Two Novels

NBC may have canceled Law & Order, but the show's creator and executive producer, Dick Wolf, will not let the number of projects he's working on involving NYC police drop below three anyway. Wolf has signed a deal with HarperCollins to write two thrillers. The first will be "a realistic, high-concept suspense thriller about a major terrorist attack planned for New York City over the July 4th weekend, engaging the Joint Terrorism Task Force and a NYPD Detective who is the city’s last hope to stop the attack." Presumably, it will be annotated so that readers will know when to make the "ka-chung, ka-chung" sound effect in their heads.
