E! News is reporting that the former Pushing Daisies star is close to being cast in Breaking Dawn, the two-part final installment in the Twilight series. Pace would play Garrett, a friend of Robert Pattinson’s Edward, who is described in the script as “a tall, nomadic vampire with sandy hair that he keeps tied back with a leather thong” (we’re just going to assume that’s a standard vampire hair accessory). Pace’s casting would indicate that, under director Bill Condon, this really is going to be the artiest Twilight film yet. [E! News]
