Critics Show Love For Glee, Julianna Margulies, Lost

Lea Michele, looking decidedly un-Rachel Berry, at the podium.

Glee was the big winner at Saturday night’s Television Critics Association awards, with the freshman comedy winning for program of the year, outstanding new program and individual achievement in comedy (Jane Lynch). The association - comprised of over 200 of the nation’s top TV critics - was split when it came to the year’s best drama: Lost and Breaking Bad shared the honor. Julianna Margulies won the individual achievement in drama award for her work on The Good Wife, and Modern Family took home best comedy. Family creator Steve Levitan accepted his prize with a timely Steve McPherson crack: “Thank God we have a champion in our corner like Steve McPherson… Steve always said, ‘As long as I’m around, you have nothing to worry about.’”
