Since it was announced that the final chapter in the Harry Potter movie franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, would be split up into two films, Potterheads have been breathlessly awaiting word as to where in the plot the split will take place. And Entertainment Weekly’s just-released Potter cover story has spilled the (Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor) beans. If you don’t know a horcrux from a hippogriff, this might not mean much to you… but for those of you who do: the first film will end around chapter 24 of the seventh book when Voldemort gains possession of the Elder wand, “one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the bearer to conquer death.” [EW via Mugglenet]
