On his bold quest to debut awesome new music, Kanye’s hit Twitter, Facebook, Singapore, Hot 97 — and, now, ribald New York City burlesque club the Box. People better connected than us were on hand last night for what sounds like a pretty fantastic evening of music: Going on just before 2 a.m. — with John Legend on the piano, Estelle as a guest star, and pals Pusha T, Mr. Hudson, and A-Trak in the audience — 'Ye plowed through a full 90-minute set, running through new songs “Mama’s Boyfriend” and "Power," as well as old standards like "Good Life," “Heard Em Say,” and "Can't Tell Me Nothing.” By decree of Kanye, you had to wear a suit to get in, which is why the world now has a photo of a decidedly dapper Pusha looking vaguely irritated.
