Mel Gibson's Apparently Going To Have To Work Harder To Alienate American Moviegoers

Believe it or not, more than three quarters of the respondents in a new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll said the release of the seemingly damning audio tapes of Gibson’s phone calls with estranged ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva would "not effect" the likelihood of their seeing one of his movies. Asked directly if they were less likely to buy a ticket to a Gibson movie post-tapes, 76 percent of Americans (80 percent of men, 72 percent of women) said "no, no effect." Could this mean The Beaver will see the light of day? [HR]
