Piranha 3D Producer Responds to James Cameron


On Friday, James Cameron told Vanity Fair's Mike Ryan that critically acclaimed fish-biting comedy Piranha 3D “is exactly an example of what we should not be doing in 3D... It cheapens the medium.” Today, Piranha producer Mark Canton took time away from work on his film's upcoming sequel to dash off a quick 1,400-word response to Movieline in which he notes that Cameron was fired as the director from Piranha 2 and that, “technology aside, I wish Avatar had been more original in its storytelling.” Meow!
