Roster of Promising HBO Projects Keeps On Growing

HBO is adding two more projects to the list: Keys to the City, an adaptation of Joel Kostman’s book of the same name, and The Three Weissmanns of Westport, based on a Cathleen Schine novel. Key centers around a New York locksmith and “sights glimpsed beyond the doors he unlocks,” and will be written by Oscar-winning The Departed scribe William Monahan. The Three Weissmanns is about “a woman’s search for meaning after her husband of 48 years walks out on her,” to be written by Rachel Getting Married’s Jenny Lumet. Both projects are in development and being produced by former Paramount Film Group president John Lesher. Meanwhile, other HBO projects in the works include Tilda, Alan Ball’s All Sign’s Death, and Hollywood mom series Lifestyle Lemonade, while Entourage goes out next summer.
