The BBC is, in fact, developing a Mandarin version of The Office, as Ricky Gervais hinted at earlier this week, Deadline reports. A Hong Kong subsidiary of film financier John Heyman’s World Film Group is developing the series with BBC exec Pierre Cheung in Beijing.
