Britney vs. Glee: Who Did It Better?
Last night's Britney Spears–centric episode of Glee (read the recap here!) contained five Britney songs and, inexplicably, a Paramore song. (What, "Sometimes" wouldn't do?) Glee performed three of the numbers — "Me Against the Music," "I'm a Slave 4 U," and "Hit Me Baby One More Time"— in the same style as the original music videos, and two — Artie's football number "Stronger" and the glee club's bowler-hat spectacular "Toxic" — much, much differently. We've assembled all the clips from last night's episode alongside the original music videos, so you can do a compare and contrast. Did Heather Morris out-dance Britney in "I'm a Slave"? Does Santana do a passable Madonna? Did Rachel or Britney look at their jock boyfriends more longingly, or move their mouths more weirdly, in "Hit Me Baby"?
