Comic-Con to Remain in San Diego for Next Three Years

After weighing proposals from San Diego, Anaheim, and Los Angeles, Comic-Con organizers have decided to keep the convention, which has become a pop-culture supernova, in San Diego — for the next three years, at least. A press conference — with San Diego’s mayor officially announcing the news — is expected to take place Friday. “L.A., Anaheim and San Diego all had unique understanding of the challenges we faced and tried to mitigate those,” Comic-Con’s director of marketing and public relations David Glanzer said. “In the end, we looked at what was best for the attendees.” [Heat Vision/HR]
