Our Congresspeople! A little slow on the uptake. Apparently, it’s taken many of them four years to figure out that Stephen Colbert’s “Better Know a District” segment was designed to be funny and to make them look foolish or uncomfortable rather than a serious place to discuss the issues. Here’s a choice quote from a former aide to Rep. Lynn Westmoreland: “My experience with that show is like herpes. It never goes away, and it itches and sometimes flares up.”
