Well, seeing as it was more or less a repeat of Monday night — once again, Kanye, Drake, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj were brought out, more or less doing the same batch of songs — let’s call it a draw. Notable switch-ups: Chris Martin didn’t show (the guy fronts a very successful rock band! He’s got things to do!) and Drake got to do “Up All Night” alongside Minaj. Apparently he kind of screwed up his part (although you can’t really tell in the shaky fan-shot video above), and later in the show Jay good-naturedly offered him a “free verse” to make up for the screwup. On a side note, 50 Cent explained to MTV the rationale behind his crew’s glow-in-the-dark clothing: “Michael Jackson used to do that back in the day. So I just made it more hip-hop and brought that to the actual shows.” Okay then.
