Fox Orders Another Pilot From Kurtzman and Orci

Transformers team Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Fringe, Hawaii Five-O) have landed another big TV project. Fox — which recently picked up the duo's big Locke and Key adaptation — has just given a pilot commitment to Exit Strategy, an hour-long drama being dubbed "a high octane procedural set in the world of CIA agents who are sent in to 'fix' operations gone bad." The writer is David Guggenheim, whose best-known credit until recently was writing ... Us magazine articles; now he's the scribe behind the upcoming Universal feature Safehouse, starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. In any case, the on-a-roll Guggenheim will serve as creator and co-exec producer on Exit Strategy, with Kurtzman, Orci, and Heather Kadin onboard to exec produce.
