Glee and Modern Family Among Humanitas Winners

The Humanitas Prizes, awarded to writers whose work "entertain, engage and enrich the viewing public,” were won Thursday afternoon by the scribes of the Modern Family pilot episode, Glee’s “Wheels” (the one where they raise money for a handicapped bus for Artie that ends with "Proud Mary"), as well as the pilots of Nurse Jackie and The Good Wife. Precious edged out Oscar winner The Hurt Locker in the feature film category. [Deadline]
