100-year-old Oscar nominee Gloria Stuart, best known for playing the elderly version of Rose in James Cameron’s Titanic, died yesterday at her West Los Angeles home, reports the L.A. Times. The actress began working in Hollywood in the thirties, though in later life she worked only intermittently until Cameron came calling. Stuart was diagnosed with lung cancer five years ago.
