Cronin, the lead singer of nineties boy band LFO, passed away Wednesday after a long battle with leukemia. He suffered a stroke in a hospital this afternoon, according to his brother. Cronin wrote the pop trio's 1999 hit "Summer Girls," which spent six weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart. [TMZ]
