Marilyn Manson Inching Closer to Dream Gig on Eastbound & Down

So, some setup: Marilyn Manson loves Eastbound & Down. Earlier this month, Adam Bhala Lough, who is directing Manson in Splatter Sisters, told Interview, "Whenever I see Manson, he's repeating entire chunks of dialogue and dressed like Kenny. He just walks around dressed like this and fucks with people on the street." (God, we would love to see this. Does he have cornrows?!.) Then last week, Manson stated that he'd like to appear on the show, playing Kenny Power's pal Stevie Janowski, who is already played by the actor Steve Little. "I want to play him," Manson told MTV. "That's it. It's a challenge. I can do whatever I want." Now, Eastbound's co-director Jody Hill seems interested, if not as entirely committed to this stellar idea as he should be. "OK, great, I'd love that," he says. "He can play [Stevie's] brother." All right: Internet, Hollywood agents, let's make this happen. [MTV]
