Roger Ebert Resurrects At the Movies

The last episode of long-running film-review show At the Movies just aired on August 14, but, as promised, Roger Ebert will be bringing it back this January with the title Roger Ebert Presents at the Movies. The series will be co-hosted by Christy Lemire, the film critic for the Associated Press, and Elvis Mitchell, formerly of the New York Times, and air on public television. Ebert, who can no longer speak because of throat cancer, will use a computerized voice to film discrete segments for every episode. Most important, there will be the thumbs-up-ing and thumbs-down-ing. [ArtsBeat/NYT]
