Roger Sterling Turns Car Salesman


John Slattery, Mad Men's silver fox Roger Sterling, will join Jon Hamm in schilling for cars. Slattery is the new spokesperson for Ford Motor Company’s Lincoln cars; Hamm’s already doing voice work for Mercedes-Benz. The marketing director of Ford told the Times that Slattery “represents the potential customer that Ford Motor is seeking to attract to the Lincoln brand — a luxury-car buyer in his 40s and 50s,” failing to add who likes drinking during the day, sleeping with the secretaries, and letting loose one-liners.
