Gerard Butler Is Developing a Pinkerton TV Series

... but not the Pinkerton you're thinking of, Weezer fans. Deadline reports that Gerard Butler has teamed up with 24 co-creator Bob Cochran to develop a Starz series about Alan Pinkerton, the creator of the first detective agency in the United States, who was tasked with monumental missions like protecting Abraham Lincoln and tracking down Jesse James (hmmm, those could have gone a bit better). The limited series is planned to run only for about ten episodes, which coincidentally is the same amount of tracks in Weezer's beloved and resuscitated second album. We would totally watch a "Tired of Sex"–themed episode. [Deadline]
