The network may be the undisputed ratings champion and it may have renewed all its new shows, but it's not completely invincible. It just cut its order for psychic cop drama Medium, which stars Patricia Arquette—bad month for that family!—and receives the lowest ratings on the network, down to 13 episodes, a sign that the show is on the rocks. (It aired on NBC until last year.) CBS, being the juggernaut that it is, will still make serious bank: the show has always been produced by CBS TV Studios, and they have a lucrative syndication deal with Lifetime. The creator of the show, Glenn Gordon Caron, will stay at the network.
