The Randy Quaid crazy train continues to rumble along, now arriving in Canada. Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in Vancouver on Wednesday for violating immigration laws; on Friday, the pair requested asylum from the Canadian government on the grounds that they need protecting from the hit men, who, as the Quaids have previously explained, already killed Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, Chris Penn, David Carradine, Natasha Richardson, and other actors who have appeared in movies with Randy. The Post reports that at the asylum hearing, the pair held up a piece of notebook paper that said, "Yes we are requesting asylum from Hollywood 'STAR WHACKERS.” Even faint hope is fading that Quaid is just trying to show Joaquin Phoenix how this "faking going crazy in public" thing is really done.
