The Best Revenge: ABC Family is developing a film about Constance McMillen, the Mississippi lesbian high-school student who successfully sued the local school district for discrimination after being barred from showing up at her prom with a woman. Sony Pictures TV has optioned the rights to McMillen’s story, and Ghost Whisperer creator John Gray will write the script. [Deadline]

Being Marilyn’s Friends Julia Ormond will play Vivien Leigh in My Week With Marilyn, and Scott Round will play Arthur Miller in the film, which starts shooting today in London. [Deadline]
