When Sex and the City was a huge hit on HBO, many wan imitations followed on other networks, but the premium cabler itself has spent most of the post-Sex era without anything even vaguely resembling a follow-up. That may change soon, as Deadline says HBO is interested in the Tea Leoni-starring pilot Spring/Fall; like Sex and the City, it’s another femme-toplined, fashion-obsessed comedy set in New York, but this one features Leoni and a yet-to-be-cast actress as dysfunctional partners in the fashion world. The series will be produced by The September Issue documentarian R.J. Cutler, so cross your fingers for a Grace Coddington cameo. [Deadline]
