It’s been known for a while now that a Women of SNL special was to air on NBC on November 1st from 9-11pm, but there were no details about what it would consist of. I assumed it would be entirely a clip show, but apparently there will be some new material included as well: “Along with fan favorite clips, the special will include original material featuring Rachel Dratch, Nora Dunn, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Laraine Newman, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Molly Shannon as well as current cast member Kristen Wiig.”
