Glee vs. YouTube: Who Did ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ Best?

This week’s Glee found religion, then lost it, then figured out what really matters with some help from Mercedes’s church choir and their powerful rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The song is a gospel classic (see: Aretha), but a quick scan of YouTube uncovered versions as jazz standard, American Idol watershed, and of course, a cappella.
