If the overworked Glee kids were hoping that this season’s summer hiatus would be theirs to spend however they wanted to, it seems that Twentieth Century Fox had other plans. The studio announced today that after last summer’s successful U.S. concert tour, the Glee cast will travel overseas to perform in London, Manchester, and Dublin this June. The show’s adults will probably appear in pretaped segments, but all of the young cast members are onboard for the European tour, including recent additions Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss. “For everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned,” promises series creator Ryan Murphy. “We’ll have some exciting news very soon.” [ONTD, Billboard]
