Finally, a Comic Book Starring Maureen Dowd

In what could be the single weirdest comic book published in 2010, cartoonist Benjamin Marra has reimagined Pulitzer Prize–winning New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd as an ass-kicking action hero prone to lounging about her Washington, D.C., townhouse in lingerie before going out on dinner dates with George Clooney. The Incredibly Fantastic Adventures of Maureen Dowd is just as absurd and over-the-top as its title suggests, but if you consider the larger than life persona projected in Dowd's columns, it may not be that much of a stretch!
