Hollywood is still reeling from the murder this week of well-known publicist Ronni Chasen, who was shot five times in her car while driving home from the premiere of Burlesque. Now, additional details are coming to light; according to The Hollywood Reporter, police investigating the crime believe it was planned in advance (and thus, not a carjacking or random altercation) and occurred when the assailant’s car pulled up alongside Chasen’s Mercedes-Benz around 12:30 a.m. early Tuesday morning. The Beverly Hills Police Department is still looking for potential footage of the crime captured by security cameras stationed at other homes in the area. [HR]
