out on the weekend

This Weekend’s Concerts, From Nicki Minaj to Weezer

Nicki Minaj spent her Thanksgiving at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, celebrating the release of her debut album, Pink Friday, with high-powered friends Drake, Kanye West, and Fabolous. The next day at the same venue, Harlem’s Dipset — that’d be Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, and, of course, Freeky Zekey — staged their triumphant comeback show, rocking live for nearly three hours. Elsewhere: shows by Black Mountain, John Mellencamp, A-Trak, Flying Lotus, Miike Snow, Yelawolf, Dwele, Weezer (featuring Lost’s Jorge Garcia!), and Yo Gabba Gabba. Not a bad holiday weekend! Check out photos from all the action right here.
