Black Swan Leads Nominees for Critics’ Choice Awards

The Broadcast Film Critics Association announced the nominees for the Critics’ Choice Awards this morning, and they really dig Black Swan. Darren Aronofsky’s film received twelve nominations for Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress (Kunis!), Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Sound, and Best Score. True Grit and The King’s Speech got eleven nominations each, Inception had ten, The Social Network nine, and 127 Hours eight. All six of those films were nominated for Best Picture, along with The Fighter, The Town, Toy Story 3, and Winter’s Bone. Notably missing: The Kids Are All Right.
