Breaking: Tonsillitis Strikes Glee Cast

We've read a number of reports about minor illnesses on the set of Glee today: "Several Glee cast members have come down with tonsillitis, forcing the show to shut down production today," a rep for the show told the L.A. Times, without citing the culprit. Dianna Agron, however, tells a different tale: "Note to self … should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure," she tweeted today, while other cast members just tweeted that they were glad for the surprise day off. In any case, the cast was scheduled to shoot a big musical number on location last night for February's post–Super Bowl episode, but temporarily called it off. Production is scheduled to resume Monday, and since that's the episode in which Katie Couric cameos, the cast had better get well soon. [Show Tracker/LAT, HR]
