Finally, Comedy in Viewmaster Form

You remember the Viewmaster, right? That old-school way of seeing 3D images? Well, it’s never been used as a comedic medium…until now. Former Daily Show and current Colbert Report writer Eric Drysdale has created The Man with F.E.E.E.T., a “set of 3 View-Master reels with 21 photographs in eye-popping 3D, accompanied by a 12-page read-along storybook.”

Eric Drysdale (The Colbert Report, The Daily Show) premieres “The Man With F.E.EE.T.,” a set of 3 View-Master reels with 21 photographs in eye-popping 3D, accompanied by a 12-page read-along storybook. The centerpiece of the show will be a staged reading of the adventure, which spoofs the TV-licensed viewmaster reels of the 1960s and ‘70s. The reading will be presented by cast members while each audience member enjoys the 3-dimensional images in his or her own View Master Viewer. Between each reel, some of the funny people involved in the creation of “The Man With F.E.E.E.T.” will perform bits related to the primary nonsense as well as free-floating nonsense. $20.00 Ticket price includes a View-Master Viewer and the Reel/Storybook packet for you to take home or give to a friend. The reading will feature some of the stars of the reels, including Christian Finnegan, Rob Lathan, Amber Nelson, and Anthony Atamaniuk and others including Michael Delaney.
