Folks angry about the divisive holiday-season relationship that is Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal now have someone to blame, and those who are excited about the relationship now have a reason to feel uneasy about it: Gwyneth Paltrow. "Jake and Taylor were driven from the Dorchester hotel to Gwyneth and Chris Martin's house in Primrose Hill for dinner," an insider told Us. "Gwyneth seems to have played a role in their relationship." Confronted with this information by USA Today over the weekend, Paltrow replied: "Where is this coming from?" Who are your sources?! Then she admitted: "It's so weird. I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don't know why it would come out today. I've just known Jake for a long time and he's a great guy, and Chris has a friendship with Taylor." So not only did she just confirm the journalistic integrity of Us magazine, but we can now start speculating about a forthcoming Taylor Swift–Chris Martin collaboration. [Us]
