IBM Invented a Jeopardy! Robot

It's called Watson, it was developed by IBM's artificial-intelligence team, and it knows how to answer complicated trivia questions. Even better: In February, the show will face Watson off against famed Jeopardy! champs Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter for a $1 million jackpot. (Jennings and Rutter say they would give half of their theoretical winnings to charity, while Watson would spend it all on robot porn). The singularity approaches. [AP]
