Director McG (Terminator: Salvation) on Friday presented Universal execs his vision for the flm Ouija, “the studio’s planned film adaptation of the classic Hasbro board game about conjuring up spirits of the dead.” The script is written by Tron: Legacy’s Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, and it’s being produced by Michael Bay. The film — again, about a board game — is said to be influenced by “The Mummy and Indiana Jones.” McG isn’t set to direct just yet, though, as The Crazies director, Breck Eisner, is vying for the gig, too. So that’s McG, the Tron guys, and Michael Bay rolled into one movie? Ouija is going to be the most unexpectedly loud, flashy, intense board-game-to-screen adaptation ever.
