The Year in Comedy


It’s been an interesting year, comedy-wise. TV hit new heights, with everything from Party Down and Louie to Community and Parks and Rec bringing the medium to new levels. Meanwhile, comedy movies were underwhelming, with practically nothing hitting theaters that made spending $12 for an hour and a half of entertainment feel worthwhile. And so much crazy shit happened in the world that was perfect for mockery, from the midterm elections to the BP oil spill, with people on the internet and late night writers jumping on board with equal fervor.

So this week, we’re going to look back at everything that was funny (or at least tried to be funny) in 2010. There’s a lot to look back at!
