Well, this is disheartening news first thing in the morning: Redman tells Billboard that the long-rumored sequel to How High, the 2001 cult classic he starred in with Method Man, is not happening because of issues with the “rights and paper work … Universal is not giving up the names and characters. I’m like, ‘If you’re not gonna [let us] do it, why not just do the damn movie then and stop playing!’” He does say he’s currently writing his own screenplay that will star himself and Meth, so hopefully in this new project the guys also get to smoke weed out of Benjamin Franklin’s bong.
