Kiefer Sutherland Claims 24 Movie Will Begin Shooting in ‘About Eight Months’

A big-screen adaptation of Fox’s 24 has been in the works since February of 2009. Initially, the plan was to send Jack Bauer to Europe, but the script has been constantly changing. According to Sutherland, the movie is still happening. Any day now: “The 24 film we won’t start shooting for about … eight … months. I think [the script] will [change] up until the day we start shooting and probably from that point forward, too. It’s a very difficult thing to take something you’ve done for eight years, almost two hundred episodes, and try to find a story that’s going to be unique and yet service the history of the show as well. But we start shooting hopefully by next December or January.” [Extra]
