From Andrew Jackson to Abraham Lincoln, actor Benjamin Walker has presidential portrayal down. The soon-to-be son-in-law of Meryl Streep (he’s marrying daughter Mamie Gummer) will play the title role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Walker was last seen in the Public Theater’s Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Vampire Hunter centers on Lincoln’s quest to rid the world of vampires set against the backdrop of the Civil War. The film is being directed by Timur Bekmambetov and produced by Tim Burton and Jim Lemley. And oh yes, it will be shot in 3-D. [Variety]
