Famed Composer Ennio Morricone Creating Ringtones

A composer's gotta put food on the table, and so it is that Ennio Morricone — the legendary musician who scored Sergio Leone's spaghetti Westerns, The Untouchables, and The Thing — is now creating ringtones. LG has announced that in addition to fifteen new pieces of music that Morricone is writing specifically for the cell-phone format, the company has secured rights to ten of the composer's other pieces, from his immortal The Good, the Bad and the Ugly riff to his totally mortal work for Warren Beatty's remake of Love Story.
